R E M A R K S :                                    PROOF TO BE RIGHT ???
========================================================================
The actual "WINDOW" of known »MODEL-D« SNs is ( Oct.2009 )  8197 .. 8231

With my Model »E«, I have narrowed the range of SNs left for »MODEL-D«.
The collector community is chasing »MODEL-D« but, it could be a phantom.
Only o n e picture ( without naming the source ) was available in

    http://www.rechenmaschinen-illustrated.com ...

... JUST FOR FUN I have combined the carriage of my »C« with the body
of my »E« to create a »D« - In fact, there are only minor changes
necessary to make the »MODEL-D« working ...

(1.) A HOLE in the »E«-Base 102 mm x 59 mm from the right front corner

     to allow CLEARING the arithmetic unit in the left-most position of
     the carriage ( The HOLE allows a PIN to come down ) - AND ...

(2.) a HOOK (of brass) mounted on the »C«-Carriage to hold the SPRING.

And the RESULT:  A  G E N U I N E   » C . H A M A N N 2  MANUS MODEL-D «

                Back to "README" = NEW DEFINITIONS ...
